#24
TIAN ZHU DING (A Touch of Sin)
Directed by Jia Zhangke
China, 2013

This film would have placed higher had all the segments have the same cinematic high.  I LOOOVED the first and third segments of the film.  They were the peaks of the film.  The other segments were good-to-great and were sort of uneven.  Those said, it was still a great cinematic experience.  I love the downwards spiraling of the characters, and I am eagerly awaiting the descent of each of them.  Bloody, dark, pessimistic yet it wowed.
